LEGO Harry Potter’s Hogwarts Castle monster-size build, Smile! My 11-year-old grandson and his dad had the Instruction booklet out and were organizing the part-kits in numerical order. With the party winding down, they were focused on the build and having fun. The part-count is 2660 pieces.
I chose this puzzle based on my memories of the fun I had with Legos as a child.

This was so much fun to make! Smaller than most Harry Potter pieces, but very detailed! The only thing is the ship always falls off. I glued it on!

Once completed, this is such a beautiful addition to the Hogwarts set! My 13 year old was able to complete it using the YouTube tutorial. We reached out to the company for replacement parts twice after finding damaged wires. They were very helpful, but keep in mind the shipping can take weeks to receive the new parts. I recommend getting a good tweezer set from Amazon. The more my daughter got used to the wiring, the more she was able to recognize issues that she could fix herself rather than seeking replacement parts. I don’t think a young child would be able to complete this independently. Also, we had trouble (lots of flickering) using rechargeable batteries- I recommend using regular ones. The project definitely has a learning curve and requires a LOT of patience, but the reward is worthwhile.
